Graduation Party Ideas + Graduation Day Beauty and Fashion!

It's that time again. Graduation. This year, my brother is graduating and I'm helping to decorate and plan his party. I'm going to show you some must-haves and ideas that I love for a graduation party and also some beauty and fashion tips for graduation day itself! I hope this helps you, and let's get started!

Party Ideas!
1. Streamers!
Streamers are a necessity for any party, so we need them at this one! I think that this is a really cute idea. All you do is take your school colors of streamers and twist them to make cute and fun streamers! You can hang them around your venue and go crazy!

2. Graduation Cap treats!
These little treats are so cute and very grad party appropriate as well! To make these, you take a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup and using some melted chocolate, you attach a chocolate square to the top. Then, you take an M'n'M and you attach that, too. Finally you cut a small strip of a sour straw and place it right next to the M'n'M, so it hangs off of the side. You can attach a stick to make it portable or you can serve them just as they are! These are super fun and delicious, a great idea for a party like this.

3. Confetti!
Confetti is a MUST, to add a little pizazz to your tables. You can find all kinds of different confetti. You can use graduation themed confetti, your school colors in different shapes or even your school's mascot! The choices are basically endless. I love confetti, because you can tell you're at a celebration and it makes it happy and fun.

Beauty and Fashion!
1. Hair!
Your hair at graduation is basically the main thing that the audience will see of you, besides your face. It's important for you hair to look nice because it is a special event where lots of pictures will be taken and memories will be made. Curly hair is personally my suggestion, but straight hair looks nice too. I like curly hair, because most of the time it looks like you spent time on it, which presents yourself in a good way. I would, if doing curly hair, curl tight curls when you curl it, because they will most likely fall a little bit before graduation. Straight hair is also good, if you want to have a hairstyle that you can do pretty quickly and it will look good all day, without you having to worry about falling or anything.

2. Makeup!
My suggestion for makeup is to do a little bit more than you usually do, so that it will show up good on camera and you will look put together and very nice. A nice smoky eye is good, if you want a little drama, but if you would rather have a more natural-esque feel, then a cream and brown look is a great go-to. Makeup is important because people will focus on your face, since not much is going on with your clothes. You will again, leave a good impression if you do your makeup and look nice.

3. Clothes/Shoes!
Clothes matter a little, but don't go overboard. A nice, simple dress will do, or even dress pants and a nice shirt. DO NOT wear jeans, I repeat DO NOT wear jeans. This is a special occasion which calls for dressing up a bit.  Heels for shoes are my suggestion because it ties the whole look together, but flats will work just as well if you don't feel comfortable in heels. Also, don't go overboard on shoes either, a nice simple pair of heels or flats will do just fine.

I hope you enjoyed these party, beauty and fashion ideas for graduation! I hope that everyone graduating has an amazing day and I hope you take a lot of pictures and make a lot of memories. Enjoy your future and the world ahead of you.

Easter Fashion!

Easter is coming up, and those frilly little girl dresses won't do anymore. So, with that said, I'm going to show you a few outfits that would be perfect for Easter and springtime.. (plus, a bit of teen fashion!)

Outfit #1: Cute and Girly
This outfit is cute and girly, but doesn't go to the point of little girl style. It's perfect for the spring weather and it's a lovely outfit to wear to church and to an Easter party! The blazer and hat add a nice touch to this great outfit!

Outfit #2: Fun and Comfy
This outfit is great for the girl who doesn't really like to dress up, or someone who likes to be a little comfortable at an Easter party, or get together. It's still cute, but without the extra effort. The shorts are great for spring and if it gets a little chilly, you can always throw on a light cardigan!

Outfit #3: Dressy and Classy
This outfit is for the girl who really likes to dress up and who likes to keep it classy. This is perfect for going to church or to a party as well. This outfit goes very well with the lovely weather in spring as well.

Outfit #4: Tom-Boy feel
This outfit is perfect for a comfy Easter at home or at a casual kids' party. It's great for the springtime weather and it's very cute and good for those girls who aren't too keen on dresses or dressing up in general.

All of these outfits are perfect for springtime and Easter. They're all very cute and they match all different styles. I hope that you'll get some ideas from these outfits and have a great Easter!

I know that I like to get inspiration from Apps for things like DIYs, Hairstyles, and Fashion. These are my top 5 Must Have Apps!

App #1: Pinterest
Pinterest is my all time must have app for inspiration for everything. There are so many ideas and pictures that will definitely give you inspiration for Do It Yourself projects, hairstyles, fashion, makeup, etc. I get so many ideas and I love looking at everyone's 'Boards' and all of the pictures they post. It's very interesting and it will keep you busy for hours.
App #2: WeHeartIt
The WeHeartIt app is great for fashion and hair inspirations, as well as room decor, do it yourself projects, and there are also just cute pictures on there. It's an amazing app and there is so much to look at and discover. It has a great design and it's just an overall greap app.

App #3: Etsy
Etsy is a great app as well, and on this app, you can look at things other people have made and you can also buy them! It's basically a store where you can look at people's personal businesses and buy their products while also getting inspiration for things you might want to make yourself. It's a great website full of unique stores and items.

App #4: Tumblr
Tumblr is an app where you can post pictures, quotes, text, you can attach videos and much more. It's a cool app because you can be individual and post what you want while also looking at other people's pages and seeing what they like. You can search keywords for pictures and posts that relate to that keyword, and you can get inspiration and look at all of the pictures and posts. It's an interesting app, and there are some interesting people that use Tumblr. It's a fun app to have overall.

Spring Essentials! ♥

Spring is coming upon us, and soon it will be the season for bright colors, pastels, and Easter egg hunts. I'm going to show you a few essentials for Spring and different trends for Springtime.

Essential #1: Dainty Scarves
Light, airy, dainty scarves are a must have for the Spring. They're perfect for whatever whether, as they won't make you too hot and they'll keep your neck at least a little bit warm. Getting these scarves in pastel or neon colors is a great idea, because you can wear them with multiple outfits and add a pop of color!

Essential #2: Sandals
Sandals are perfect for Spring, because the weather is nice, so you don't want to wear those big winter boots anymore! Sandals come in countless styles and colors so you can get whatever you want! Brown sandals, in my opinion go with basically everything. So, they're absolutely a must have, but you don't have to stick to just brown. Go crazy with the colors and styles and see what you like!

Essential #3: Headbands
Headbands are a cute and fun way to get your hair out of your face or to spice up an outfit. They're a perfect accessory for Springtime and they're fun too! They also come in countless colors and styles as well, so you can get whatever you want and you can also match your outfit!

Essential #4: Sweet, Floral Scents
Floral and Sweet scents are perfect for Spring, because after all, flowers are what Spring is known for! Also, floral and sweeter scents are very girly and pretty, and they're fabulous for this lovely season.

Essential #5: Blush
Blush is definitely an essential makeup item for Spring. Blush gives a girly feel to your makeup and it's a cute product to have fun with. Especially if you have a baby pink blush, because that's perfect for Spring and it's a pastel color so it goes well with the Spring color palette.

Whether it's clothes, fragrances or beauty products, Spring brings out the girly, fun and cute side of all of us. I hope that these essentials help you to bring out your inner girly-girl. Happy Spring!

Tips On Getting Over Being Sick!

I don't know about you, but when the seasons change, my allergies go wild and I get sick pretty fast. And let me tell you, that is not fun! Since it's currently changing a bit from winter to spring, I'm currently sick. So, today I'm going to share with you some of my best tips that I use for getting over being sick!

Tip #1: Stock up on those Cough Drops!
Cough Drops are an essential and very necessary component of beating 'the sick'. Also, if you're anything like me, the coughing is horrible and your throat hurts like the dickens. So, cough drops are great for relieving a sore throat and also relieving those horrid coughing fits. There are many flavors of cough drops like the classic Cherry Menthol that everyone claims to hate, Lemon Honey which isn't too bad, and also just plain Peppermint, which is my personal favorite. Just try a few different flavors out and find out which ones you do and don't like.

Tip #2: Tissues, Tissues, Tissues!!
I absolutely cannot stress enough how essential tissues are when you're sick! We have all been through that awful situation when you sneeze in class (and may I remind you, when you're sick, your sneezes go everywhere) and the teacher doesn't have any tissues. It's horrible. Therefore, you need at least a package or two of travel tissues, and if you sneeze a lot or your nose is really runny or congested maybe a whole box. The decision is up to you. Normally, I bring one or two travel sized packages and I have only brought a whole box maybe once. Also, you need a stock pile of tissues at home as well, because let's be honest, you're more inclined to blow your nose for real at home, rather than at school. I personally love the Vicks infused tissues because they help to clear my congestion a little bit, also the lotion infused tissues help for no redness and irritation around your nose.

Tip #3: REST!
Rest is an absolute yes whenever you're sick. For your body to be able to renew and heal, you need sleep and rest. I know that whenever I'm sick I feel like I've been hit with a bus, so I really enjoy sleep and I sleep for a few hours, one or two times a day along with my 8 hours of sleep at night. I don't do much whenever I'm sick other than get up to go to the restroom or get a drink or take medicine, etc. I mostly just lay in bed and relax and try to feel better. Which I recommend to anyone who is sick, as this will most likely cause you to feel better because you aren't on your feet and your body is relaxed and it's healing.

Now, These tips are just my generic 'must haves' of getting over sickness and I've learned and found things out over the many times of myself getting sick. I hope that what I have shared with you helps, because I know it certainly helps me. Also, I hope that if you are sick, that you would get well soon!

Perfect "Fit"!

Now that the Winter formals, LPAs, and Loyalties are really close, you have to make sure that you look your best at that dance!
That means, you have to fit perfectly in your dress and you have to be the flawless, fabulous person you are.
I'm going to share with you some tips on how to get fit for that dress, and how to get a flawless face all for that perfect night.

Tip #1: Eat Healthy!
I know, I know. You've heard it a million times, but honestly, it's the thing that works the best. If you eat right and avoid those empty calories, you'll be just fine. It won't hurt to eat a few vegetables, anyway.

Tip #2: RUN!
Running is perfect for keeping your body toned. It also builds stamina for sports or even everyday stuff. It doesn't take to long, and its not extensive either.

Tip #3: Stay Hydrated!
You HAVE to drink water. It helps your skin, and your body! It helps stop bloating, and it also helps with blemishes. Keeping your body hydrated and drinking lots of water will really help you.

Tip #4: Wash/Clean your face!
Washing and Cleaning your face can help your skin in a lot of ways. For one, it will get rid of the oil and dirt in your pores and your skin, making it clean and reducing the chance of acne, pimples and overall blemishes. Taking off your makeup with a makeup remover wipe or a cleanser will do your skin good in the long run. It will keep it clean and happy and it'll make you feel better too.

So, Overall just stay active, eat healthy, and stay hydrated! Do all of these things and you'll be good to go, and you'll look fabulous on that magical night.

Cheer Style!

Currently, I'm at a tournament for cheerleading, and style is extremely important.
I'm going to show you a few ideas for what to do with  your hair and makeup for cheer!

Hair:
Idea Number 1- The classic 'bump'
The cheer bump is a very popular classic, and all you need to achieve this look is hairspray, a comb, lots of teasing, and many, many bobby pins. You can never go wrong by doing the bump, and your hair will look fabulous at your game, tournament or even a competition!

Idea Number 2- French Braid Ponytail
By doing a French braid ponytail, your hair will look cute and also put together. Though the French braid takes a little practice, it won't be too hard to master. You won't need much to do this hairstyle, so this is also a good hairstyle for when you're in a hurry.

Makeup:
Idea Number 1: Glitter!
Glitter makeup is the ultimate makeup look for cheer, no matter what event you're going to. It's go big or go home, right? And glitter is DEFINITELY going big. It grabs people's attention and it makes you look cooler, too. So that's a plus.

Idea Number 2: School Colors!
My schools colors are black and red, so personally, I do a black colored smokey eye with red lipstick.
It's really cool if you do your makeup to coordinate with  your school because for one, it shows your school spirit, and it also shows that you care, in making your makeup look nice and put together.

So, overall, you can do whatever you want with your makeup and hair  for cheer, but these are some fun ideas to try and wear for those special games, or even every game!
