Perfect "Fit"!

Now that the Winter formals, LPAs, and Loyalties are really close, you have to make sure that you look your best at that dance!
That means, you have to fit perfectly in your dress and you have to be the flawless, fabulous person you are.
I'm going to share with you some tips on how to get fit for that dress, and how to get a flawless face all for that perfect night.

Tip #1: Eat Healthy!
I know, I know. You've heard it a million times, but honestly, it's the thing that works the best. If you eat right and avoid those empty calories, you'll be just fine. It won't hurt to eat a few vegetables, anyway.

Tip #2: RUN!
Running is perfect for keeping your body toned. It also builds stamina for sports or even everyday stuff. It doesn't take to long, and its not extensive either.

Tip #3: Stay Hydrated!
You HAVE to drink water. It helps your skin, and your body! It helps stop bloating, and it also helps with blemishes. Keeping your body hydrated and drinking lots of water will really help you.

Tip #4: Wash/Clean your face!
Washing and Cleaning your face can help your skin in a lot of ways. For one, it will get rid of the oil and dirt in your pores and your skin, making it clean and reducing the chance of acne, pimples and overall blemishes. Taking off your makeup with a makeup remover wipe or a cleanser will do your skin good in the long run. It will keep it clean and happy and it'll make you feel better too.

So, Overall just stay active, eat healthy, and stay hydrated! Do all of these things and you'll be good to go, and you'll look fabulous on that magical night.

Cheer Style!

Currently, I'm at a tournament for cheerleading, and style is extremely important.
I'm going to show you a few ideas for what to do with  your hair and makeup for cheer!

Hair:
Idea Number 1- The classic 'bump'
The cheer bump is a very popular classic, and all you need to achieve this look is hairspray, a comb, lots of teasing, and many, many bobby pins. You can never go wrong by doing the bump, and your hair will look fabulous at your game, tournament or even a competition!

Idea Number 2- French Braid Ponytail
By doing a French braid ponytail, your hair will look cute and also put together. Though the French braid takes a little practice, it won't be too hard to master. You won't need much to do this hairstyle, so this is also a good hairstyle for when you're in a hurry.

Makeup:
Idea Number 1: Glitter!
Glitter makeup is the ultimate makeup look for cheer, no matter what event you're going to. It's go big or go home, right? And glitter is DEFINITELY going big. It grabs people's attention and it makes you look cooler, too. So that's a plus.

Idea Number 2: School Colors!
My schools colors are black and red, so personally, I do a black colored smokey eye with red lipstick.
It's really cool if you do your makeup to coordinate with  your school because for one, it shows your school spirit, and it also shows that you care, in making your makeup look nice and put together.

So, overall, you can do whatever you want with your makeup and hair  for cheer, but these are some fun ideas to try and wear for those special games, or even every game!

Tips on LPA!

The time has again come for a formal dance, for me it's our "Loyalty" dance, aka our "LPA". LPA stands for "Ladies Pay All". For this dance, the girls ask the guys and basically pay for everything, too.
I'm going to share with you some tips on how to make your LPA night a memorable one.

Tip #1- Find Your Date!
Since the girls ask the guys at this dance, it's time for you ladies to stand up and take some action! Now, if you're planning to ask that "Special Someone", then you probably want it to be special, right? The best way to make it special is to make it your own. Go on social media site like Tumblr, or Pinterest and get some ideas! You always want to do something that gets the person's attention, and something that they can't say no to... within reason. Go for balloons, or cookies. You could even do something that had some tie to an inside joke you share. Whatever you decide to do, just make it your own, and be creative!

Tip #2- Find the Perfect Dress!
To go to a formal dance, you've got to find your perfect dress. The best way to find that amazing dress is to see what colors and styles look best on you. I suggest going to a store or the mall, wherever you choose, and trying on all different kinds of dresses in all kinds of colors. See which ones you like best, and try to find a dress that matches what you liked. Try not to pick colors that wash you out or that clash with your hair/skin. Also, try to match with your date, it's cute and a good thing to do when you go to a formal dance with someone, it shows that you're together and you put effort into it.

Tip #3- Accessorize, Accessorize!
You can't just go to a formal in just a dress! You need some shoes and jewelry to go with it! Try to find shoes and jewelry that match your dress, or that accent it. You'll look more put-together and nicer.

Tip #4- Hair and Makeup!
Hair and Makeup are really important for formal dances, because you need to tie everything together with them. Nails are a nice touch as well, but they aren't a mandatory thing. Again, look on Pinterest and Tumblr for hairstyles and makeup styles that you like, and have the makeup match with your outfit a little bit. That way, everything will be tied together. Have fun, and experiment with different hairstyles and makeup looks, find out which ones are the best for you!

Tip #5- Take Pictures!
You HAVE to take pictures when you go to a formal dance. If you go in a big group, like I am, take pictures with you group. Have fun with them, and have a good time. Try to do funny ones and normal ones, let them vary. Document your night and make some memories that you can look back at the pictures and think "That was a great night".

Tip #6- Have Fun!
Whatever you do, just let loose and have fun! Be wild and crazy and have the time of your life, because this is definitely your chance to do it. Make some memories and make great friendships. Have a ball, and stay safe.
